We may collect account information such as username, email address, authentication details, billing or recharge records, API key metadata, usage logs, model request statistics, device information, IP address, browser information, and support communications.

We do not require you to submit sensitive personal information to use the core service. Please avoid sending sensitive personal data in prompts, files, logs, or support messages unless it is necessary for your use of CostRouter.

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, route API requests, calculate usage and billing, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, communicate service updates, and comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand service performance, model demand, and product quality.

CostRouter may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect sessions, understand site performance, and improve the product experience.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect account access or dashboard functionality.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate hosting, storage, analytics, security, payment, customer support, and infrastructure services.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide CostRouter, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the service, and meet legal requirements.

Retention periods may vary based on account status, record type, security needs, and applicable law.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and API keys.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

You may also update account information in the dashboard where those controls are available.

CostRouter may process and store information in countries or regions other than where you live. Those locations may have data protection laws that differ from your local laws.

When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised update date.

Your continued use of CostRouter after an update means the revised policy applies to your use of the service.
